Fort DeSoto Park

The beaches are all natural settings. You’ll find yourself absorbed in the abundance of natural beauty for as far as the eye can see. The fort for which the park was named, was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. There are nature trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters that can be reserved for events.

Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve

Enjoy a one-half mile boardwalk through the mangrove wetlands and an idyllic view of the Intracoastal Waterway from an observation deck.

Largo Central Park

The park’s rolling grounds, fountains and playground set it apart as one of the finest parks in the county. Rainbow Rotary Playground is one of the only playgrounds in the Bay area completely accessible to disabled users. Enjoy free train rides around the park on the first full weekend of every month. McGough Nature Park (Turtle Park)

A beautiful park located along the Intracoastal Waterway.
