Indian Rocks Beach is known for its small beach town charm, yet is located in the midst of some of the most famous beach destinations in the U.S.A.  Our white sand beaches are located on Florida’s Gulf Coast between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach.  The Gulf of Mexico waters are dazzling colors of blue from light turquoise to dark sapphire.

You could actually spend your entire week at one of our Gulf Front vacation rentals enjoying what Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores has to offer.  Have a quiet time chillin’ like a local, or the adventure of a lifetime.  Though the surface area of Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores is more water than land, our island footprint provides a multitude of experiences.

Culinary journeys can take different directions in Indian Rocks Beach.  Its three-mile stretch of Gulf Boulevard is truly “Restaurant Row” with no shortage of food, drink, and entertainment.  Crabby Bill’s is an original Florida-style crab house has been around almost 40 years.  Keegan’s Seafood Grille, in existence for over 35 years, was featured on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” TV show.  Pizza and brew lovers can get their fix at Mike’s Pizza & Pub or Slyce Pizza Bar.  If you want to splurge on steak or seafood there’s TJ’s Italian Café, Guppy’s on the Beach, E&E Stakeout Grill, and Villa Gallace.  JD’s Restaurant has great casual dining indoors and out with live music daily on the outdoor patio.

Gulf Coast seafood doesn’t get any fresher than this!

There’s also a lot more to explore within a half-hour’s drive from your vacation rental.  John’s Pass Village is only minutes away, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, or take a boat tour from Hubbard’s Marina.  You could visit Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach for its nightly sunset festivals.  Visit the historic sponge docks in Tarpon Springs and take a plunge into its unique Greek culture.  Go on an ecotour with Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  St. Petersburg’s downtown waterfront has plenty of museums, restaurants, and shopping.

The Dali museum has the largest collection of art by Salvador Dali outside of Spain.

One of the benefits of staying in the Tampa Bay Area is that you’re close to Florida attractions like Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, and Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  Walt Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando are a day trip from Indian Rocks Beach.

Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the fastest and steepest hybrid roller coaster in the world.  Plumlee Vacation Rentals is a Preferred Partner of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

You can skip the ticket lines at the parks and buy tickets directly from Plumlee Vacation Rentals.  Some of the many attractions we sell tickets for are Busch Gardens Tampa, Adventure Island, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and Hubbard’s Marina boat tours.  The best value is a package of tickets to several Tampa Bay Area attractions called City Pass.  Visit our Attractions page for a complete list, and call our Reservationists to purchase tickets at 727-595-7586.

There are two nearby international airports that can transport you to Indian Rocks Beach:  Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Petersburg International Airport (PIE).  We hope to see you soon!

Splash Harbour Water Park is located right here in Indian Rocks Beach.  It is the closest water park to the Tampa Bay beaches.  Experience the thrills of screaming down water slides or enjoy relaxing while floating down the Lazy River.
