There’s a lot going on this month and you’ll not want to miss out on these Gulf Coast events, festivals, activities and sporting events. Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores Events
March 9, 12, 26, 2017 @9am-1pm: Indian Shores Morning Market
Get a taste of the local flavor at the Indian Shores Morning Market. Here you’ll find the freshest and most delicious offerings including produce, gourmet goods plus locally produced fine arts and handcrafts, and so much more. Stop by the Municipal Center parking lot on a Sunday from 9am to 1pm and check it out!
March 18, 2017 @11am-4pm: St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Indian Shores
Put on your green and gold and join in the St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Indian Shores this month. Enjoy corned beef and cabbage, Irish music and dance, food vendors, and beer and wine in this Irish beach celebration held at the Indian Shores Municipal Center and parking lot. There’s limited seating, so bring your own chair.
March 18, 2017: Intracoastal Waterway Clean Up and Great American Clean Up
Help keep the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida as pristine as possible by joining in the Intracoastal Waterway Cleanup and Great American Cleanup which happen annually every March. We thank you in advance for helping out!
March 25, 2017 @10am-5pm: Greenfest in Indian Rocks Beach
IRB Greenfest, held each spring, has eco- friendly vendors, non-profit organization to teach us all how to be kinder and gentler to our earth. Enjoy food, beer, wine, live music and lots of family fun for everyone. There is a large kids area that includes a bounce house, dancing, arts and crafts, and a playground. All proceeds benefit COTI Community Christian School. Greenfest happens at 24th Avenue and 1st Street in Indian Rocks Beach. See you there!

The annual Bluegrass Festival held at Kolb Park in Indian Rocks Beach happens each March. Details are forthcoming so stay tuned!

Uncork the flavor of wines, craft brews and more at the Busch Gardens® Food & Wine Festival, Saturdays and Sundays March 4 through April 30.
The festival area is open from noon to 9pm and headlining concerts start at 7pm.
March 5-13, 2017: Valspar Championship PGA Tournament at Innisbrook, Tarpon Springs
Get up close and personal with the PGA’s best players at the famed Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Golf Club. Don’t watch it on TV this year, instead get your tickets and get out on the course to see all of the golf action and excitement for yourself.
March 10-12, 2017: Firestone’s Grand Prix in St. Petersburg
Vroom, vroom! It’s all about fast cars and the need for speed at the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Pete. See big names in the world of racing and see who crosses the finish line first at this annual favorite Florida Gulf Coast racing event.
March 12, 2017: Sunsets at Pier 60 Spring Break Hours Begin
The Sunsets at Pier 60 Nightly Festival begins its spring break hours on March 12. Hours are 5:30pm to 9:30pm for a fun-filled time each and every night of the week.
March 13, 2017 @8pm: Kristin Chenoweth at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater
Don’t overlook what’s happening and who’s performing at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater next time you’re in town. This month features Emmy® and Tony Award®–winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth. Get your tickets and have a Ruth Eckerd Hall experience of your very own.
March 21-25, 2017: Swimming Junior National Cup in Clearwater
This USA Swimming sanctioned event is hosted at the Doyle Aquatic Complex at Long Center in Clearwater. The event is a Prelim / Final championship style format in short course yards. Two eight-lane SCY courses are used for prelims and one ten-lane SCY course will be set-up for evening finals. There will be four finals heats. There will be a Consolation Final and a Championship Final for both 16 and under and Senior categories.
March 25, 2017 @8am: Rasta Run 5K in Clearwater
One Love. One Race. Get your groove on at Tampa Bay’s first ever reggae-themed 5K foot race! Hosted in Clearwater, the fun kicks off with Yoga in Dub and Meditation at 7am. and the race starts at 8am. After you jog, jam to live music from Badda Skat Band and dance Reggaerobics style. The Vendor Village features Kabobalicious, Jerk Hut, Uncommon Shammans, and Shilajit Kombucha.
