If you are an arts and crafts enthusiast who enjoys perusing unique handmade artisan works, the 12th Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival is just for you. The festival happens on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29th on Main Street in the quaint Gulf Coast town of Dunedin. Daily hours are 10a.m. to 4p.m. and admission is free and open to the public.
This annual event draws big crowds year after year and it’s easy to see why. The Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival is a first-rate showcase featuring a nice selection of contemporary, original works from over 100 local and national crafters from 30 different states.The products are all handmade in the United States and the prices are very reasonable. Come and experience it for yourself.
There is a vast selection of crafts represented here including botanical hotplates, ceramic planters, functional pottery, hair accessories, one-of-a-kind jewelry, folk art, personalized gifts, handmade clothing, basket weaving, beaded utensils, candles, cork assemblage, fabric design, fiber quilts, fused wax and glass, handbags and accessories, handmade cards, leather, mosaic, woodwork, painted wood, plaster craft, stained glass, and so much more. This is a juried outdoor craft showcase where crafters are selected from hundreds of applicants. Another great benefit of the Downtown Dunedin Craft Show is that the crafters are on-hand throughout the duration of the festival to answer any and all of your questions and discuss their work.
If you’re vacationing in Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores, Dunedin is under a 30-minute drive north and offers scenic coastal views along the way. The City of Dunedin sponsors the event each year and welcomes new visitors. Check it out!
