Hats Off to Dr. Seuss on Florida's Gulf Coast
1. Hats Off to Dr. Seuss exhibit at Syd Entel Galleries in Safety Harbor. Take advantage of the rare opportunity to bring the family out to see the private hat collection of Dr. Seuss. Learn how his hats influenced his artistic legacy. The exhibit is on display at the Syd Entel Galleries on Main Street in Safety Harbor and runs daily through this Saturday, January 25. This is the last weekend to catch the show, so don’t miss it.

2. Touch-A-Truck at Largo Central Park. Central Park is the place to be this Saturday, January 25 foTouch-A-Truck in Largo on Florida's Gulf Coastr the 19th Annual City of Largo Touch-A-Truck event that runs from 11a.m. to 4p.m. Bring the kids for a day of climbing, honking, and playing in, on and around every vehicle imaginable. You’ll see fire trucks, dump trucks, motorcycles, buses and more. The best part is not only can the kids look at and learn about the vehicles; they can explore them until their hearts are content. Kids and kids-at-heart can enjoy face painting, balloons animals, inflatables, train rides along the Largo Central Railroad, and Rocketship Car rides around the block. Work up an appetite and then take advantage of the food court offering delicious fare in the middle of the park. Admission to Touch-A-Truck is free, but some of the activities require a wristband for the cost of $5.

3. Pinellas County Folk Festival at Heritage Village in Largo. The Pinellas County Folk Festival is presented and sponsored by thPinellas County Folk Festival on Florida's Gulf Coaste Pinellas County Historical Society and offers dozens of the Tampa Bay area’s premier folk musicians all in one place at Heritage Village in Largo. Enjoy traditional folk, gospel and country music on various stages throughout the day. Heritage Village brings history to life on a daily basis and the Folk Festival is no different. The Pinellas County Folk Festival occurs this Saturday, January 25 from 10a.m. to 4p.m. The day is filled with fun, educational historical demonstrations and activities for the entire family. Admission is free to children under the age of 12, and a minimum donation of $5 per adult is requested.
