The Old Salt & Bill Currie Ford Inshore/Offshore Fishing Tournament Comes to Florida’s Gulf Coast

The Old Salt & Bill Currie Ford Ladies Inshore/Offshore Fishing Tournament is in its 25th year and held at the Madeira Beach Municipal Marina on Thursday, August 1 and Saturday, August 3.

This fishing tournament raises money for a good cause and gives participants the opportunity to fish for a cure. Proceeds benefit the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation and the event features live and silent auctions on Thursday night with weigh-ins and awards on Saturday. Tournament-goers can enjoy food, drinks, vendors and more on-site during the event.

The Ladies FishinGulf Beach Fishing Tournament for the Ladiesg Tournament focuses on six species of fish to catch: grouper, snapper, amberjack, sea trout, redfish (photo release), flounder, Spanish mackerel and sheepshead. Prizes are awarded for 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($200) per species.
