shers in the beginning of November and the 7th Annual Taste of IRB. Indian Rocks Beach presents its best local fare all in one place on Saturday, November 2 from 4p.m. to 10p.m. at Chic-a-Si Park. Enjoy a large selection of area restaurant food vendors, live music by Esprit de Kor, beer, wine and so much more. There is a little something for everyone of every palate. Here you’ll find seafood, pizza, pub fare, desserts, frozen treats, coffee, Thai, and sushi just to name a few. Try a little bit of everything and get your fill of your local favorites. Be sure to bring your appetite!
In addition to the fabulous food, the festival is noted for its fun atmosphere and community spirit. W
hether you’re a resident or visitor, all are invited to attend the Taste of IRB. Last year’s attendance was estimated at about 6,000 and even bigger crowds are expected this year. Generous sponsors and community volunteers make this event an Indian Rocks Beach favorite.
Be sure to save some room for the Famous Firehouse Chili from the Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District. It’s good food for a good cause with proceeds being donated to the Beach Community Food Pantry. Raffle tickets are also on sale ($2 each or 3 for $5) with over $600 in gift certificates from local restaurants and merchants as prizes. Be sure to stop by the Beach Welcome Center booth and check out the Indian Rocks Beach t-shirts they are selling. They are the perfect memento to take home with you.
