Rated the Best Zoo in the U.S. by Parents Magazine, the Lowry Park Zoo offers $6 admission per person on Sunday, February 23 from 9:30a.m. to 5p.m. This is quite a discount, so it makes for a very busy day at the zoo. Free extra parking is available that day next to the Tampa Greyhound Track and free shuttles are running continuously from that lot to the zoo between 9a.m. and 6p.m.
