May Days on Florida’s Gulf Coast

May is here and the Gulf Coast of Florida has so much to offer in the way of family-friendly events and fun things to do. The days are filled with sun, sand and surf; the nights with cool salty breezes and spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. In between your down time and your beach time, be sure to check out some of the local fun happening in and around Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores this month. Here are our favorite events!

Hands Across the Sand in Indian Rocks Beach

Hands Across the SandThis global event takes on local significance here on our Indian Rocks Beach shores as we join hands in symbolic solidarity against off-shore drilling on our precious coastlines. The more Hands Across the Sand in Indian Rocks Beach there are, the louder the message becomes. Let’s put dirty fuels behind us and look ahead to clean energy options. Our community commitment is strong and the message is loud and clear.
Join us at 12 noon on Saturday, May 16 between 17th and 18th Avenue for Hands Across the Sand in Indian Rocks Beach. We’ll be there. Will you? Hope so!
