Spring Brings the Citywide Garage Sale, a New Community Garden & More to Indian Rocks Beach

Spring is definitely in full swing on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Enjoy the gorgeous weather, beautiful beaches, great places to stay, as well as all of the events and attractions that can be found in and around the community of Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores.

Here are some things happening locally for both residents and visitors alike. We look forward to seeing you!

Indian Rocks Beach Citywide Garage Sale
Each year, Indian Rocks Beach holds a citywide garage sale once each spring and fall (usually the weekend after Easter and the weekend after Thanksgiving). This weekend Saturday, April 15 through Sunday, April 16, the Indian Rocks Beach Citywide Garage Sale fills the neighborhoods and streets offering a bargain-hunter’s delight.

The residents of Indian Rocks Beach have been busy spring cleaning, reorganizing, and preparing for the sale. This bi-annual event is theIndian Rocks Beach Home only time where residents can have a sale without obtaining a permit, so you know there are a treasure trove of deals to be had. You’ll find a little bit of everything at the sale, so keep your eyes open for the many bargains to be found.

There is no set time for the sale, but come early for the best selection (just not too early). A lot of things are out and available for you to peruse and purchase by around 7-8a.m. and continue throughout the day. Contact the City of Indian Rocks Beach or the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association for more event details.

Take advantage of the opportunity to share your gardening experience with others and gain advice, too. New to gardening? Indian Rocks Beach Community GardenThat’s okay! You’ll quickly learn how easy (and fun) it is to grow herbs, vegetables and flowers.

There are no membership fees required. Just purchase at least one Earth Box for $50 and you’ll be able to dig in. Everything needed to get started with your gardening adventure is included, even the soil and fertilizer. The community garden is sponsored by the City of Indian Rocks Beach. For more information, you can contact the Community Garden Coordinator, Trish Burch at 973.219.4187 or via email at [email protected].
