It is one of the best equipped and most attractive fishing piers in Florida and offers access to fishing activities, fine dining, shopping, entertainment and outstanding white sandy beaches. Fishing licences are not required. The facility offers up to the minute weather conditions at the pier, shaded covered pavilions, audio/video security system, rental equipment, bait and tackle shop, snack bar, fishing tournaments, sightseeing, telescopes for beach viewing and restrooms. The sunsets aren’t too bad either!

Whether you’re stepping out of your Indian Rocks rental or parking at one of the beach access points, you’re always close and convenient to surf fishing right on the beach. Bring your chair, a cooler, and your rod and reel—and make sure you have your fishing license. That’s just about all you need other than some snacks, shades and sunscreen. Go ahead see what’s biting.
The warm, sunny and sandy beaches of Indian Shores run for almost three miles of barrier island bliss. Cast your line into the Gulf of Mexico and experience peaceful and productive surf fishing from the shoreline. What catch of the day will you reel in? It just depends on the day and season.
