GASPARILLA PIRATE FEST TAMPA | JANUARY 29, 2022

The Gasparilla Pirate Fest is a pretty big deal in the Tampa Bay area each year. There’s plenty of swashbuckling fun for everyone, kids included (they have their own Children’s Gasparilla event, too). This year’s pirate festival is slated for January 29, 2022. Details here. 

FIRESTONE GRAND PRIX ST. PETERSBURG | FEBRUARY 25-27, 2022

Start your engines for the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Pete. This Indy car race draws quite a crowd each and every year. The main attraction happens in downtown St. Pete on February 25-27, 2022. Get your tickets and plan your stay! Details here.

VALSPAR PGA GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP | MARCH 14-20, 2022

Watch the pros tee it up live at the Valspar Championship. This PGA TOUR event is set for March 14-20, 2022 on the Copperhead course at Innisbrook Golf Club. See who’s playing and get your tickets. Details here.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH GREENFEST | MARCH 26, 2022

Learn more about eco-friendly ways to enjoy the beach and life in general. Greenfest happens annually each March with this year’s event scheduled for March 26, 2022 at 24th Avenue and 1st Street in Indian Rocks Beach. Details here.

PIER 60 SUGAR SAND FESTIVAL CLEARWATER BEACH | APRIL 8-24, 2022

This 17-day festival in Clearwater Beach is a locally loved event celebrating the gorgeous sugar sand of the Florida Gulf Coast with amazing artistry by talented sand sculptors. Free and fun family entertainment abounds. See you on the sand! Details here. 

FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS | JULY 4, 2022

Plan to be here over the Independence Day holiday and enjoy local fireworks displays nearby to your Indian Rocks Beach rental. Redington Shores, Madeira Beach, and Clearwater fire them off each year, but you have to be here to enjoy them. Save the date!

OKTOBERFEST INDIAN ROCKS BEACH | OCTOBER 2022

Celebrating this German-inspired fall festival on the beach is the perfect reason to plan a fall getaway to Indian Rocks Beach this year. The date of this event is yet to be determined for 2022, but stay tuned and keep your October open. Details here. 

TASTE OF IRB | NOVEMBER 2022

The Taste of IRB at Chic-A-Si Park is a mouthwatering event that brings the best local flavors all to one place—and for a good cause. This year’s event date is TBA but keep it in mind this November and keep your calendar open for a beach trip. Details here. 

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH HOLIDAY LIGHTED BOAT PARADE | DECEMBER 2022

Is it even Christmas without a lighted boat parade? Not if you live in Florida or are vacationing over here over the holidays. The Indian Rocks Beach lighted boat parade is a festive way to celebrate the season along with local tree lightings, street parades, and more coastal Christmas fun. Details TBA.
