Indian Rocks Beach Prepares for a White Christmas with the IRB Tree Lighting & Holiday Parade

To get you in the spirit of a white Christmas, Indian Rocks Beach has some holiday events that kick off this week in and around town. Don't miss the fun and merriment. Mark your calendars!
Indian Rocks Beach Tree Lighting
Slip on your flip flops and come out to 12th Avenue Park on Gulf Boulevard. Don't forget to grab your favorite holiday mug! There is hot chocolate, cookies, carolers and more for you to enjoy during the IRB Tree Lighting event.This is a favorite annual event in Indian Rocks Beach that marks the official start of the holiday season. It's free to everyone and begins at 7p.m. on Friday, December 5. It's the perfect Friday night out. Bring your family, bring your friends!
Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Parade
Now that the tree is lighted, the holiday spirit soars leading up to the next big holiday event in Indian Rocks Beach. The IRB Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 7 promises a classic street parade to delight both young and old. The parade lineup begins gathering along East Gulf Boulevard and starts weaving its way through each of the fingers of IRB beginning at 1p.m. The parade finishes up at Kolb Park on Bay Palm Boulevard.Rumor has it that the Tampa Bay Rays and their beloved mascot Raymond are joining in the fun. Keep an eye out for them in the lineup and be ready to collect some goodies.
After the IRB Holiday Parade, bring the kids over to the Civic Auditorium for an all-out celebration at the IRB Children's Holiday Party hosted by the city. There are refreshments, snacks and more. Be there!
