Dunedin Celtic Festival This Weekend on Florida's Gulf Coast
The Dunedin Celtic Festival is an annual event centered around Celtic
rock music, craft beer, and the gathering of the clans. This year's festival takes place this weekend on Saturday, November 23 from noon to 9p.m. at Dundedin's Highlander Park. Each year the main stage
features regional, national, and international Celtic music artists
along with the City of Dunedin Pipe Band. The lake stage features
acoustic acts along with the Dunedin High School and Dunedin Middle
School bands. All proceeds benefit the three Scottish programs in Dunedin – Dunedin
Middle School, Dunedin High School, and the City of Dunedin Pipe Band.
Bring a chair or blanket and come enjoy some excellent Celtic music, craft beer,
and amazing food while helping the local Scottish programs in
Dunedin. The musical lineup is jam-packed with Celtic performances throughout the day. You can view the music schedule here.
In addition to the music performances, festival-goers can also find the finest craft breweries from around the Tampa Bay area on hand. There is a wide selection of beers from each brewery. Breweries represented this year are the Dunedin Brewery, 7venth Sun Brewery, Barley Mow Brewing Company, Cigar City Brewing, Sea Dog Brewing Company, and Narragansett Lager.
The Dunedin Celtic Festival tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the gate. Children under the age of 12 are admitted free-of-charge with a paid adult ticket. You can purchase tickets here.
