17th Avenue Beach Access, IRB
The 2nd annual Rotary Runs the Beach takes place on scenic Indian Rocks Beach. Sand replenishment took place last summer, so running on the beach is better than ever! A 5K- timed run or 1-mile family fun run/walk is offered. This event benefits the Rotary Club of Indian Rocks who supports both local and international causes and is a great event for competitors as well as beginners.

Service Saturdays help keep Indian Rocks Beach looking beautiful. Each event focuses on a different park or beach access in IRB where cleanup and beautification tasks need accomplishing. IRB Nature Preserve
This is a local favorite event geared for kids ages 10 and under. Every bunny loves an Easter Egg Hunt, right? Come to this free, family-friendly event and get ready for fun and games, golden eggs, prizes, refreshments—and a visit from the Easter Bunny, of course. Don’t forget it’s BYOB (bring your own basket). Festivities begin at 10a.m. See you there!

IRB County Park
Indian Rocks Beach Fest is another annual festival favorite. Listen to live local bands, indulge in food and beverages from area restaurants, and play games right on our beautiful beach. Admission is free! Beer and wine are available, too. Proceeds go back into the community to fund worthwhile city projects and causes. Beach Fest starts at 11a.m.

Pier 60, Clearwater Beach
Join the Sea Turtle Conservation Team from 8a.m. to 1p.m. for a special day focused on sea turtle nesting and conservation. Learn what you can do to help protect these endangered marine animals and participate in coastal cleanup activities on the beach and in the water. Activities and fun for the family include: beach cleanup at Pier 60, educational games for kids, children’s Latin dance group, sea turtle nesting stake painting, nest site and other educational displays. Live music, local vendors and food, too!

Who’s up for more than two weeks of beachy fun? With a week added to this year’s event, the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is one of the best sand sculpture festivals in Florida with world-renown sand artists vying for the best in show with their crazy-cool sand creations. Get your ticket to peruse the expansive 21,000-square foot structure and gaze at the artists at work creating their amazing sand sculptures. With free live music, fireworks, kid’s play zones, and sand sculpting classes—there’s lots of fun for everyone!

Bright House Field, Clearwater
Bring your pooch to Bark at the Ballpark! $6 dog tickets (dog admission tickets sold separately from event tickets) benefit the Humane Society of Pinellas. Fun, contests, and vendors are on the concourse for a good cause. It’s a great dog-friendly event! See you on the ball field.
