SHINE: St. Petersburg Mural Festival
October 5-14, 2018
This year’s annual festival showcase’s new vibrant, creative and inspiring murals in St. Pete created by international, national and local artists. The new pieces further enrich the city’s public outdoor gallery, adding new styles-from colorful geometric patterns to delicately-rendered realism-all expertly painted on large walls and even on street intersections. Come and see it for yourself!
Indian Rocks Beach Pub Crawl & Hippie Fest
October 6, 2018 @4-10p.m
Dress in your best Hippie costume and celebrate 1968… 50 years later in downtown Indian Rocks Beach. Advance registration is $20 per person or $25 on the day of the crawl. On crawl day pick up your wristband/registration packet between 3-6p.m. at Plumlee Realty. For all Hippies young and old there is a Hippie costume contest and awards party at Crabby Bill’s Loading Dock at 9pm.
Intracoastal Waterway Clean Up

Join us at the 15th Avenue Boat Ramp in Indian Rocks Beach and help us clean up the beautiful place we get to call home. The more the merrier! Let’s roll up our sleeves together and do our part to keep the ICWW clean and litter-free. It’s a great way for the family to get together and participate in a community-wide volunteer event. Oktoberfest in Indian Rocks Beach

Come on out to Kolb Park for German-style fun at the beach. Each October, Action 2000, Inc., hosts Oktoberfest in the town of Indian Rocks Beach. Over 6,000 people attend and enjoy family fun, international food, great music, games and more. There’s free admission and all of the festival’s proceeds goes back into the community. Clearwater Jazz Holiday

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is a four-day and four-night, world-class, live, music festival, enjoyed by over 35,000 people the third week of every October and now in its 39th year. The music festival has evolved from a series of concerts on the back of a flatbed truck and at venues around Clearwater into an annual, international, music festival that draws tens of thousands of visitors each year to beautiful Coachman Park in Clearwater.
Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival

The Clearwater Chalk Art Festival brings local and regional artists, students and artist groups to participate in this three day event, transforming the beach’s sidewalks into spectacular larger-than-life canvases. The festival includes a kid’s zone, arts & crafts vendors, music, and more! There’s also a People’s Choice Award where you can vote for your favorites. Entry is free and open to the public.
International Coastal Cleanup in IRB Florida

Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the Ocean Conservancy are proud to present the 2018 International Coastal Cleanup. Please join in as they partner with the City of Indian Rocks Beach to tackle the issue of marine debris on the coastline. The millions of tons of trash that enter the ocean each year entangle wildlife, pollute beaches and consume taxpayer money. We need your help to put a stop to it. Meet us at the Pinellas County Beach Access in IRB!
Hallowfest in Indian Rock Beach

Join us for the annual City of Indian Rocks Beach kids Hallowfest at Kolb Park. The Halloween hoopla abounds with pumpkin carving, face painting, bounce houses, games, a petting zoo, along with pony and train rides. Tame your little monster’s appetite with treats (no tricks) including pizza, popcorn, cupcakes, and candy of course. See what’s in store for your family this year. John’s Pass Seafood & Music Festival
October 25-28, 2018
The John’s Pass Seafood Festival has always been a celebrated local event. For 37 years, the community has come together to host this local favorite event. It’s currently the second largest Seafood Festival on the East Coast. The seafood festival had the largest in-person attendance of any event in Pinellas County in 2017. So here’s one more reason to visit Madeira Beach! Come enjoy the bounty of seafood that inhabits the coastal waters.
