SPECIAL EVENT: July 4th & July 5th Indian Rocks Beach Cleanup

If you’re looking for something to do on July 4th to help keep Indian Rocks Beach clean and neat, join us for the first annual IRB Beach Cleanup sponsored by Crabby Bill’s Seafood. The event happens on the sand from 11a.m. to 5p.m.

Volunteers are needed to pass out trash bags to visitors on the 4th of July at various accesses (4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, 18th, 24th) for one hour to help encourage everyone to leave only their footprints behind. While only one volunteer is needed per access, you are more than welcome to bring a friend or spend more time walking the beach and sharing the goal! Thank you in advance for helping us keep Indian Rocks Beach clean during this 4th of July holiday. If you’d like to participate, please sign up for the IRB Beach Cleanup here.

We also invite volunteers to help with cleanup on the morning of July 5th from 8:30a.m. – 10a.m. to collect additional trash found along Indian Rocks Beach. Bags and gloves can be picked up in the office at Crabby Bill’s at 8:15a.m. or will be available at the beach accesses both on the 4th and the 5th of July. If you have a net, feel free to bring one to skim our waters and clean any fireworks debris/garbage. Following a successful cleanup, head on over to Crabby Bill’s Indian Rocks Banquet Room for a complimentary breakfast buffet!
