We love celebrations here on Florida’s Gulf Coast! The upcoming Fourth of July holiday is filled with family fun and festivities for everyone. Whether you prefer to be on the beach, in the park, on the water or in the comfort of your beach vacation rental, there are plenty of ways to celebrate this Independence Day.

Here are the places you need to be this Fourth of July on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

On the Beach in Redington Shores for Fireworks

The Redington Shores county park and beach access is the place to be for fireworks on the beach this July 4th. Take in the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico views that surround you. Bring your blanket or beach chair, find your spot in the sand, and enjoy the show. The fireworks begin at dark.

At Coachman Park for Clearwater Celebrates America

Blast off your Fourth of July celebration with the City of Clearwater Celebrates America event at Coachman Park. This is a FREE family celebration held on Monday, July 4, 2016, along with a concert featuring the Coachman Park Pops and the Wilsons. The night is topped off with one of the largest fireworks displays in Tampa Bay. Food and drink vendors and exhibitors are on hand to cover all of your Fourth of July needs.

Gates open at 4p.m. and music begins at 7:30p.m. Children’s activities run 5-9p.m. featuring the Nomad Art Bus, a performance by Artz 4 Life Academy, a mascot dance off, a DJ, face painting, crafts, games and more! The night ends with a fireworks show starting at 9:30p.m.

In Largo Central Park for the Fourth of July Celebration

Come see one of the best firework shows in Pinellas County at Largo’s 4th of July Celebration in Largo Central Park presented by HCA of West Central Florida. On Monday, July 4 beginning at 6p.m., family and friends can enjoy great food, entertainment and activities for all ages, followed by a spectacular fireworks show starting at approximately 9:15p.m. Enjoy a pie eating contest, t-shirt decorating for $5 and inflatable activities with a $10 wristband.

Admission to the event is FREE, activity wristbands are also available for purchase on-site (cash only). On-site parking is available for $10. Free park and walk is also provided from Largo Middle School and Everest University.
