9/11 Memorial Fundraiser & Cornhole Tournament in Madeira Beach

We “Never Forget” the events that transpired on September 11, 2001. This September, the City of Madeira Beach is dedicating their 9/11 memorial. In order to raise funds for the dedication, Madeira Beach is holding a fun and family-friendly cornhole tournament. (If you’re not familiar with cornhole, it’s a bean bag toss onto boards with holes in them. It’s a game very similar to horseshoes.)
A Toss to Remember in Madeira Beach
This Saturday, September 6, Archibald Park in Madeira Beach is the place to be for A Toss to Remember, which is a 9/11 memorial fundraiser and cornhole tournament. Sign in at 11a.m. and then practice up until noon, when the event begins. This cornhole tournament offers two levels: competitive and fun. It’s up to you if you want to just have fun or play for keeps. Advance registration can be completed online here.

A Toss to Remember is held on the back deck of the newly renovated Snack Shack. Tournament-day registration is available at 11a.m. and the competition begins at noon, so don’t be late. The $50 team fee for two includes a free drink ticket and a free raffle ticket for each player. Prizes and payouts for winning teams are offered, and there’s a 50/50, silent auction, and other auctions held throughout the day.

The Toss to Remember 9/11 Memorial Fundraiser and Cornhole Tournament also hosts an after-party that continues until sunset. The band Freelow is providing live music throughout the afternoon.

Archibald Park is located at 15102 Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach. Madeira Beach is only a short, 15-minute coastal drive from your Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores vacation rental. We hope to see you there!
