Get To Know The Tampa Bay Beaches
From Belleaire Bluffs to Treasure Island, the beaches of Tampa Bay offer the vacationer a choice of world class vacation getaways, entertainment and attractions. Our Indian Rocks Beach vacation rentals and Indian Shores rentals are located on a beautiful beach in the middle of these Gulf barrier islands. You’ll find a beach condo or rental home that will make your vacation a memorable one.
Indian Rocks was named from a legend about an ailing Indian chief who drank from a local spring and miraculously recovered. The spring is no longer there, but the name lives on in Indian Rocks Beach. Development plans started in the 1880s and soon prominent citizens were building vacation homes on the island.
Indian Shores is the former Indian Rocks Beach South Shore— obviously the southern end of Indian Rocks Beach. The name was changed in 1973. Indian Shores has Town Square Nature Park, which features boardwalks through the mangroves for an unusual experience.
Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores is a wonderful vacation spot for the whole family. Here are some of the attractions.
